We present a list of mountain trails and routes that are located in the vicinity of our apartments. These charming trails offer both gentle, family-friendly hikes and more challenging routes for experienced hikers. Thanks to the convenient location, each of our guests can discover the beauty of the Tatra nature, breathtaking views, and unique experiences on the trails, which stretch right outside the apartment door. A walk to Krupówki!

Just step out of the apartment, turn right, and begin a charming walk towards the funicular to Gubałówka. During the stroll, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscapes and stop for a unique meal at one of the charming restaurants in the area.

To spice up your journey, we encourage you to take advantage of the various attractions available along the way. From the exciting gravity slide, where every turn brings a new rush of adrenaline, to activities for children (such as arts and crafts, rope park, Gubałówka Adventure Park), which will stimulate their imagination and bring plenty of joy. The Gubałówka funicular will provide you with a quick and comfortable ride to Krupówki in just 4 minutes.

Gubałówka and the cable car

Gubałówka is one of the most charming hills in Zakopane, attracting crowds of tourists with its unique view of the Tatra panorama. Taking a stroll along the promenade or relaxing on the viewing terrace are perfect ways to enjoy this picturesque scenery.

To reach the summit, you can take the convenient cable car, with the one-way fare costing around 30 PLN. There’s no problem bringing your bike along – whether your own or rented on Gubałówka, which you can return in the city center, on Krupówki.

The cable railway to Gubałówka runs every quarter-hour, usually from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. During peak tourist periods, such as holidays, the opening hours are extended, and the railway operates from as early as 8:00 a.m. to as late as 9:30 p.m.

Kościeliska Valley

The Kościeliska Valley is one of the most charming places in the vicinity of Zakopane, just 7 minutes away from our apartments (enter 'Kościeliska Valley, Kiry’ into your navigation). This picturesque valley hides extraordinary natural treasures and offers breathtaking views. Here, the mountains speak to the soul, and every step is an inspiring encounter with nature.

One of the main points along the trail are the fascinating caves, such as Mroźna, Mylna, Raptawicka, and Smocza Jama. Enter their interiors and feel the thrill!

The route through the Kościeliska Valley is easy and pleasant, perfect for even the youngest hikers. During the walk, you can rest at many spots, enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature. The round trip is about 5.5 km long, and it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete, with an elevation gain of 273 meters.

Chochołowska Valley

The Chochołowska Valley is located just 11 minutes away from our apartments (enter 'Chochołowska Valley, Siwa Polana’ into your navigation). The trail includes both gentle sections and more demanding parts. The majority of the route is paved, making it comfortable for strollers, sledges, or walking with dogs. The round trip is about 11 km long, and it takes at least 3 hours to complete.

During the hike, pay attention to the picturesque corners of the Chochołowska Valley and numerous viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas. At the end of the trail, there is a mountain hut with a restaurant where you can take a break, rest, and recharge after an active walk.

To Grzesia, Rakoń and Wołowiec

Some daring individuals may choose to continue their hike from Chochołowska Valley upwards, heading towards the summit of Wołowiec via Rakoń, and then onto Grzesia. This is a real challenge for trekking enthusiasts who want to get even closer to nature and admire breathtaking views from high up. Climbing through these areas is not only physically demanding but also rewarding, providing a sense of fulfillment and awe at the beauty of the surrounding nature.

Hawiarska Route to the Red Peak

The Hawiarska Route to the Red Peaks, just 7 minutes away from our apartments (you can enter Dolina Małej Łąki in your navigation), is one of the most enchanting mountain trails in the vicinity of Zakopane.

The estimated time to complete the trail is about 4.5 hours. During the hike, we gradually ascend, passing picturesque meadows, streams, and surprising viewpoints. Along the mountain trail, we may encounter wild animals and observe the richness of the Tatra fauna and flora. The highlight of this route is the Red Peaks, which tower above the surrounding valleys and peaks. The view from their summit is breathtaking and rewards anyone who decides to conquer the Hawiarska Route with stunning vistas of the entire Tatras and their picturesque surroundings
